A particle accelerator collides streams of subatomic particles in a 27 km long tube one hundred metres under the surface of the earth.
How could this be possibly correlated with music!?
This curious thought set the 'Pied Pipers' off to explore making (really expensive) music from particle collisions.
We used it to understand the composition and characteristics of beams from a different perspective!
We won the Best Video Award at CERN's annual BeamLine for Schools (BL4S 2023) contest.
